Just returned to my car after grabbing some bits from Asda on the way home (yes I know), to find that the car parked next to me was filled with rubbish. So much rubbish that a space had been cleared on the drivers seat and a sort of wall built around the driver, but not completely cleared, the seat was rubbish free just enough to form a sort of cushion. What made surprised me though was the steering lock, as if anybody would want to nick it! Can only imagine what lurks beneath the crap eek

IMO anyone driving around in a car like that probably has mental health problems.

Reminds me of a TV programme I watched a while back about hoarders. People who can't bare to ever throw anything away, and end up living in a house full of utter rubbish, to the point where they have to climb over it to get to bed.

In another few weeks this person won't be able to see out of the windscreen!

Definitely mental illness. I can't see it passing an MOT test like that so they must clean it at some point? Disgusting.

I agree that appears to be a compulsion rather than laziness.

I like the steering lock - it implies that someone might actually want to steel it. hehe

My sister seems to always be trying to get her car into this state.

Clearly mental health issues. Anyone who buys normal Rocky biscuits instead of the caramel ones is nuttier than squirrel poo.

Glad I wasn't the only one to notice!

My best mate does this, i hate getting in his cars. I've even cleaned them out myself a few times only to see them end up like this again a week later.

Having looked at both his parents, his sister, his ex partner and his children, its interesting to note that they are messy too. Last time his children (friends of my daughter, all about 5 years old) came for a sleepover they completely trashed the room. Pictures and posters were ripped, every toy was out and even the bed was upside down, my daughter is pretty tidy and you could see the look of concern on her face.

Thinking back to when we were kids he was a right mess then too, I'd always clear the playhouse out only for him and his sister to mess it up. As he's an adult now though he does make an effort to keep other peoples places and their stuff tidy.

That being said they are all extremely kind and exhibit very few other odd traits.

The steering wheel lock is a nice touch, like anyone is going to steal that mobile dungheap !

I like my cars clean inside, my missus is quite prepared to drive round in what I describe as the back of a council bin wagon, with Adele albums playing on infinite repeat. Women are the main offenders, they spend so much time on themselves, everything buffed, scrubbed, shaved, made up, perfumed and then they step into freshly laundered clothes, ironed to perfection, with carefully chosen matching accessories then step into a motorised wheelie bin.

I finally got round to cleaning the people carriers seats yesterday, she made a passing comment about them looking good, but was overly concerned about the tiny bit of water that may still be in them and its effect on clothing health and being "wet all day" (fnarr), she wasnt bothered about the gorund in crud that had been there for years.

Must be a sight when he's driving around with the windows down.
