kING CAR - KEEP OFF! People piss me off
I saw these two cars in Knightsbridge recently. They belong to this guy, a pro Saudi rally driver. http://instagram.com/yazeedalrajhi
And in another non-news event I knocked someone else's car mirror with my forearm the other day. No damage was caused; as in this case.
It's been parked there with the intention of being shown off. Like it or not, such ostentatious display of wealth blurs the boundary between public and private property. Conspicuous consumption is exactly that: done with the purpose of alerting others to one's higher financial status.
As such one runs the risk of others not treating their property like some sort of revered Holy relic, which in fairness that car isn't. The girls' intentions weren't harmful - look on it more as a vicarious over exuberance. They want, just for a second, to brush against the revered celebrity lifestyle - laid out in buffet form by the friendly oligarchs of West London.
To claim that is somehow wrong is to also disavow some of the core tenets of consumer capitalism.
Or to put it another way: no harm done!

The car is not their property and they have no permission to touch it.
By your reasoning, you could go up and have a little fiddle with anyone woman in a low-cut top. She would be, according to you, "blurring the line" between her own body and public property just by not covering up.

Good post but, when all said and done, whatever the car or other item, if it aint yours you don't touch, get a photo by all means but touching is overstepping the mark. It's been parked there with the intention of being shown off.
