Fiesta ST 4.5k rpm buzzing noise - what's the deal?

So I'm interested in the Fiesta ST and took one for a test drive. It seemed everything the reviews said it is apart from one thing that bugged me which was a buzzing noise between 4-5k rpm and seemed to be coming from the engine sound symposer.

Hoping it was a one off I looked up some acceleration clips of the ST on youtube and low and behold it seems to be a common thing. If I did get one I'd be looking at the Mountune option so I hoped these cars might not have the same problem given the different intake but it seems they still do..

Am I the only one that feels that buzzing really detracts from the rest of the sound?

On a side note I also wish Ford had gone with a warbling engine note like the Focus, sounds much better!
