Hello technical peeps!

I'm sure I posted this the other night but I did it on my phone so could have gone Pete Tong.

I've got a MK3 Mondeo with halogen headlights which are fine, performance doesnt lack or anything however my lens are starting to go a bit yellow, and the rubber seals are starting to deteriorate. A mate has sold me a set of OEM Xenon headlights for a price that I couldnt turn down.

I'm well aware of the legalitys with illegal HID kits and headlights, so I'm not fantastically bothered if I cant use the projector part, however as I do a bit of driving abroad it would be handy to fit them as you can flick the beam from RHD to LHD and back without having to worry about beam benders (which dont work).

I want to know if there is a bulb that will fit in place of the standard D2S bulb. You can switch the loom bewtween headlights so I would run the H7 loom to the halogen bulb, just need a bulb that will mount and be legal. Theres millions of retrofit HID kits, surely someone must have done it the other way round? This way I think it will be legal and perfect for me (unless I'm missing something).

If all else fails I'll just take the lenses off and live with it but its a lot of effort masking them up everytime I go on the continent.

Thanks!
