I had a Citroen BX19 GTi many years ago, the rear spoiler was the perfect height to eat fast food takeaways off of smile

Guessing he came across this picture and fancied giving it a go...

...no doubt someone will come along with the one which inspired that.

What is it with people fitting horrendous after market mudflaps to these cars? I see them fitted to Focus ST's a lot too.

So that you still have some paint left on the sills. You will also find that Prodrive/STI offered them as genuine accessories in the same way Skoda offered moulded flaps for my old Octavia vRS. Guess which ones actually do their job and prevent a spray of road rash down the doors? That's right, it's the 'horrendous' ones.

Somehow looks "right" with the Japanese eating noodles. Not quite so right with the fat welsh chav eating a KFC...

Given how much the bootlid used to bow when I simply ran a sponge over it, I'm not sure I'd want to sit on one!

This.

Have opened and closed many boots on 3 Terzo's, RB5's P1's and the like I've always thought that they were a touch 'tinny' and about the last part of the car I would like to place 15 stone on...

We found that the old flat spoiler on the back of our hawkeye Impreza made an absolutely perfect changing table for our few month old daughter.

Think I'd rather have the odd stone chip on the sills than go about with tacky looking mudflaps.

In a similar vein the little spoiler on the window of my A2 is a perfect shelf for a coffee cup or drink when I'm working in the front garden or drive.

It's good to know those shelves are not completely useless after all.

Am I the only one wondering how he got in there without climbing over the rear window or rolling his shirt up his back trying to get out?
