IC breakdown service (insurancechoice) any dealings with ?

So my AA renewal has come though the post. £130 for a years worth of roadside $ onward assist. Phoned the AA and best they could do was a 29% discount. So was having a look around and saw this company

£70 a year for Roadside assistance,Local Recovery,Full UK Recovery,Misfuelling,Message service,Emergency travel accommodation,Caravan / trailer service,Home Start,Key service,European Cove!!!! Very cheap. But with it being a comany I've never heard of im not sure if they are worth the risk. Any thoughts ?

Don't know about the company you mention but the AA are a bit ... I've been with them for decades and every year they bump up the price, then reduce it when you phone in, which annoys the hell out of me - no reward for loyalty (and I've never needed them once in all the years I've been with them!).

Anyway, got my renewal and it doubled to £16 p.m. Rang them and they reduced it to a tenner per month so I thought about it.

Bought a new car with full cover for everything (through the AA as it happens) so rang them to say I wouldn't be renewing. All of a sudden, the per month price went down to £2.28!!!!

Not sure I'll ever use them again.
