Following the thread best place to purchase tyres online

What should be a good price to get these fitted?

Find a small independent tyre place and it will be between £5 to £10 per wheel, you are asking them to take time out from selling their own stock, fit, balance and dispose of the old ones, so £10 per corner is not bad really.

I've got a good mobile guy comes to the house and fits 4 for £40.

I've just had a tyre fitted on an 18" wheel. My local tyre place charged me £14.75. I was happy with that.

Having phoned round a few, I found that most tyre places don't offer a fitting service, and the ones that did were charging up to £30 a corner

Prices near me here (Chilterns) are from £12 (really low) and £20 (outrageous) for a factory yard based mobile bloke.

Cost is not the question you should be asking. Find someone who will fit without fking the finish on your rims and then will balance them properly. Both priceless.

PS. I do it myself these days.

Go on blackcircles, find tyre places local to you that fit for them, give them a ring and you'll probably find that they will do it for you. I've done this before when buying tyres from elsewhere.

Seems to be about £15 per tyre around here (Suffolk).
