Just out of interest is the exploding head gasket problem on the diesels sorted yet? Friend who's driven Toyotas for as long as she's been driving (don't mention hilux to her unless you want to loose an hour. .) Had her avensis blow up on her recently but was outside the unofficial 7y/ 100k miles "contribution window". At least she's less boringly enthusiastic about them now!
