Half way through painting the breeze block garage walls and it looks 100% better, however it is looking a tad bare so I'm going to decorate the walls with banners, posters, tin signs etc. I really don't fancy covering the breeze blocks with holes so I was thinking of anchoring some OSB or plywood sheets to the walls. Some pistonheads must have faced this problem what material did you use or would you recommend.

Are you going to want to hang any meaningful weight off the walls, or just provide something to pin posters etc to?

If the latter, then to save drilling holes, you could just dot-and-dab ply or OSB or whatever to the wall with NoMoreNails or similar. Otherwise, there's not much realistic choice but... <passes rawlplugs>

Nothing wrong with "covering the breeze block with holes".

It's breeze block, if in the distant future you decide to change the layout you just fill the holes and paint over them... surely better than hanging some nasty looking OSB or similar.
