Car acceleration / performance apps

[vanman1936]

Anyone used ones for 0-60, 50-70 tests etc?

Interested in any recommendations / reviews.

Cheers

Tried a few in the past.

The results were random and often hugely exaggerated.

Not sure if they have improved recently. It just seems they couldn't be trusted at all, especially for such small time frames.

Fast forward to 4:30 if you want the verdict but the iPhone app was pretty accurate for the cost on this occasion

Got an OBD bluetooth adapter plus Torque pro (Android app) this week, can't really comment on the 0-60 stuff as I haven't used it for that, but it's a very impressive little app for £3ish. Can check your error codes lets you data log a load of things etc.

I'm interested in this as well and have found something on ebay which can be hardwired to the ODB2 socket. It comes with a screen and look pretty smart.

I can't find the link right now!

Will try later.
