Not quite as cool, but least they gave it a go, intentionally or not.

Doesn't look intentional too me.

More like one of those 'oh fk' moments that we have all probably had at some time.

Impressed that the car didn't beak into hundreds of pieces.

Isn't that how all hire cars are driven?

I'd like to think the car was full of students like the inbetweeners lot.
What was the car, some kind of PUG 1007 or something?

They almost certainly killed the car, the driving away was a matter of pride but I doubt they got far, the sump and radiator will have been pissing oil and water everywhere.

I'd call that more of a "fall" than a "jump."

So the 8mm cine camera is still alive and well in Croatia then.

My uncle claimed to have done that in the early 80s. He was driving a battered old Pug 504 pickup and the throttle got stuck. So airborne he went. I was young, he was wild and a bit of a madman so it seemed perfectly plausible to my innocent ears. Perhaps I should ask again.

This was in the Croatian news a few days ago

It wasn't intentional, I know that much, any more info wanted I can always ask the missus...
