Built in lift for a car shell?
Discussion
I've bought a Morris Minor shell for my brother-in-law that he wants to use as a theatre prop ('Our House' the Madness musical). It needs to get up onto a stage which is about 4 foot above ground level. There is space for a ramp on this occasion, but possibly want to let other theatres use the car and got me wondering if there's a way for the car to have some kind of lift built in.
The car is just a shell, engine is out, interior, glass out, etc to keep the weight down. There would be extra height internally as any 'seats' will be made to be higher in the car. I've got a 300kg bike lift, which would pick it up (presuming I could get under it), but it's not very big and at some point the weight would need to move from the lift to the stage. Something quick and easy(!) would mean the car could be moved out of the theatre when not used and not have to sit in the wings.
Not every theatre would have space for a ramp, so if anyone has any bright ideas then I'm all ears.

In my imagination I see a bike lifts mechanism attached to the bottom of the car so when collapsed it rests on the car wheels, lift it up, push the car so the front wheels rest on the stage, attach some rear legs with wheels to support the rear then collapse the bike lift, once the back wheels are on stage remove the rear legs. Combine with a couple of chocks and away you go.
Think, if you will, of the stretchers they used to use to get into the back of an ambulance, a bit like that.

A lot of venues have some pretty impressive roof-mounted winches for lifting rigging... I'm guessing driving a fork-lift in isn't an option and you don't tend to find one one in your back pocket :-)
ETA A friend of mine lived above a Post Office that was raided and the safe stolen. 10 guys just lifted it.
