Expected brake wear?
Discussion
I've a Fiat 500 through work and it's done about 15,000 miles. Took it out to our unit last night to inspect a rumble coming from the front under braking and the front pads are done, and the right disc has slight pitting too.
Now, I'd have expected a bit more out of them but it's all stop start city driving throughout the day (9-5) and I am quite harsh on brakes I'll admit, but not daft.
Does that seem right? Pardon my ignorance, only had to do disks and pads on one of my cars since I passed my test!

It'd be entirely possible.
Forget when you drive, or even how long per day you drive. That's all irrelevant.
However if you're doing lots of stop start, and you're quiet harsh with the brakes, then yes it's possible.
If its your car, you could help by easing up on the braking, using engine braking, looking further ahead etc. If it's a company car, does it really matter?

Aye, meaning rush hour in the city centre. Spend my days going back and forth to different properties etc so relatively low mileage just lots of stop start. All answers itself really but just thought it seems a bit quick for a small light city car. Forget when you drive, or even how long per day you drive. That's all irrelevant.

Will be a bit lighter on the brakes too

Relatively small family business so every little helps
