First google hit. ( DBS MOTORING )
http://www.nacro.org.uk/what-we-do/resettlement-ad...

Do I need to disclose motoring offences when applying for a DBS?
Motoring offences are criminal offences and they form part of your criminal record, depending on the disposal you received. If you have received an endorsement for an offence under Schedule 2 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, then this may become ‘spent’ 5 years after date of conviction (2 ½ years if under 18 when convicted) If you received an FPN for a minor motoring offence and you paid it on time, it will not form part of your criminal record and will not need to be disclosed

It should show up. The question is will the people doing the check care about it?

I work in schools, with children. I work for a few organisations so I've had a few CRBs and DBSs. I'm pretty sure none of the organisations would care about driving with no insurance given the context, so it wouldn't matter.

As long as you won't be expected to drive your own car as part of your job I can't see why they would care about it. Unless you were asked about convictions and failed to disclose it.

A bloke I know had a speeding offence on his crb, this was because it was a 4point offence. So I'm guessing anything you had a summons for would show up.
