No one else wondering why the OP posted a screenshot of a photo ?!?!?
Thats the first thing I thought!Anyway, could the OP please return and let us know how he measured this - cold/hot/level surface/just been run/waiting a few minutes??
I wouldn't be concerned if that is the level when measured properly, its not enough over to do any damage.
What car is it OP?
Screenshot was just to reduce the file size quickly.
I wondered if it was due to being a new car and that they put a tad more oil in.
Once it was delivered I checked the oil and tyre pressures etc.
It was measured a few times, cold, and after a run when it had time to cool down. All taken on level ground. It's held horizontal just for the photo.
I'd rather be safe than sorry, so thanks for the replies. I'll continue to monitor it. Old habits die hard and I always check oil and pressures etc.
I'll sleep well tonight as advised.
