There are many businessmen and celebrities spending money on tasty motors, going on driving holidays, collecting cars etc but are any politicians car lovers too?

I can't think of anyone, either in UK or abroad who would be known for being into cars/bikes.

Do you know anyone?

I should imagine members of the All Party Parliamentary Historic Vehicles Group consider themselves petrolheads e.g. Sir Greg Knight MP, the Chairman in his 1972 Jensen Interceptor, Sir Tony Baldry MP in his 1972 MGB Coupe, Yorkshire MEP Timothy Kirkhope in his Porsche 911 Sport, Lord Cope in his 1935 Bentley and Labour MP Kelvin Hopkins in his classic Jaguar XJ

The late, great Alan Clark is the one that springs to mind, and I doubt we'll see the like of him in the commons again - possibly ever.

Apparently there are currently 28 MPs in the Motorcycle Action Group.

I think Hazel Blears rides a bike, Michael Jopling perhaps, and possibly Ian Paisley (junior). Don't know who else though.
