My wife has lost the front page of her registration document. And it's because it's car-related it's my fault.

Anyway, she needs to change address and that portion of the document is missing.

I assume she needs to call/write to the DVLA?

She wants me to call them but I assume this is pointless as all they will tell is me that they can't help me as the car is in her name.

Has anyone recently lost all or part of the V5 and if so how did you go about sorting it?

If you mean the Secion 10 New Keeper's Details then no - she's not a new keeper, just someone who has owned this particular car for a number of years and who moved house.
