Time to move on our family small car, a 2003 Polo.

It has an engine management light on that I have no interest or time in dealing with - it was on when I bought it. As a result I'm selling it cheap.

I am being invaded by texts, emails and offers. Some of these are just cheeky try-ons. Some are more amusing.

I've been asked if I'll take p/ex. I'm not sure what is worth less than a £550 Polo - but I'm guessing it's not something that I want on my drive. I have someone who has begged me not to sell it to anyone else.

As it happened I've sold it to a chap within 2 minutes of listing, as long as he turns up today. If not I have plenty waiting in the wings.

Never had so much interest in a car.

Living the dream.

You're in that sweet spot of a cheap-as-chips car that might not fall apart in 6 months - don't share this on the AT thread wink

you should only really be rejoicing once the car has gone and you got cash in your hand.

nonetheless, always positive to have so much interest.

Should have kept my mouth shut. No turn uppy. Now sold to someone else, who has sent a deposit.
