Vehicle Tracking
Discussion
You probably mean this but you need a 4 wheel alignment. tracking is sometimes just the front axle, and pointless if there not inline with the rears correctly. had it done once and it was out still when done a proper 4 wheel machine.
I've used my local 'Protyre' a few times always give me a before and after print out, and seem competitively priced.

I think he's probably asking about GPS / RF tracking of stolen cars etc rather than alignment.
My guess is based on this being the sort of thing where you're more likely to look for a particular company to carry it out, whereas alignment you're more likely to use someone local.
Ah you may have point there, I am off no help on this subject. My guess is based on this being the sort of thing where you're more likely to look for a particular company to carry it out, whereas alignment you're more likely to use someone local.

Hi thanks for the reply.
There has been a few cars local to me that have been stolen and at the moment I am firmly keeping the vehicle in the garage. What worries me is that it appears that these vehicles have been stolen without keys! The keys including spare keys were still in my neighbors position..... My insurance company have not insisted that I have a tracking unit but I do not want that hassle of the vehicle going missing like they have had and then having to claim..
I have spoken to most of the below which seem to be quite prevalent on the internet and received quotes but I just do not know which one to choose so any advice to be honest would be most welcomed. The Police have been around because of the increased vehicle thefts and said it might be beneficial to have one installed.

Have a look at the TK series of trackers. TK103/104 etc.
They are not a dealer only, you can self fit.
they have features like geo-fencing and remote shut down. The unit will text you if it moves or the alarm goes off, you can track them in real time and have it text you a google maps location.
Best of all is the remote shut down. text the unit and it can shut down your engine.
