Well they do say you can buy ANYTHING on Ebay but there really is no value in buying someone elses

tax discs.

Only has 97.2% feedback too so one to avoid anyway.

People will sell anything if they can make a quick few quid though I think it's a bit early to try with those tax discs
Perhaps he might be trying to start a sticker bomb trend with tax disc from a vw to go onto vw's
Watch this space you heard it here first biggrin

Bloody hell....! Iv got one in my office which is 30/9/20015...! Which when you think about it shouldn't exist as it was taxed in October and the disc issued after the 1st.....? I Havant even torn it out of the perforations and I very nearly binned it.....! idea

I saw this one had fetched £13

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tax-disc-dated-31-08-201...

so I got mine out of the bin and listed them, since it has the same expiry date.

I offered this guy £1200 - which seems a fair bid - only to be declined.

Are we saying that there are no tax discs which have expiry of 30/09/15? Seems to me that those would potentially be the valuable ones, but I can see any listed.

Edit - found that they do exist. However, I'm keeping my non-perforated one that expires 31/08/15 as it will be worth a bit one day.

Already seen a guy on a Ford Transit forum, doing sticker bombed door cards with them, he has asked other members to post old ones to him.

Exactly my thoughts when it arrived in the post. I've kept the one that it would have replaced too, a nice extra bit of provenance.

That represents 1 negative feedback so not bad. There are loads of idiot buyers on ebay who will complain for the smallest reason, which may be unreasonable.

Yes, there will be and probably quite a few. The majority of September's new car registrations were in the last few days of the month, so are likely to have been registered for 12 months and 1 week.
