I have been advertising a car for sale, and had a vague enquiry via email from "wedolovecars" requesting contact by text or phone call. Does anyone have experience of this? Is it a dealer, or a scam, or genuine? If it had said "We have clients waiting for your vehicle" I'd have known not even to consider replying.

Sounds scammy to me. Google brings nothing up either.

I imagine they absolutely definitely have buyers stabbing each other in the car park to be the first to wk over your car's shadow. As soon as you pay them £50-£100 to have yourself on their database of cars available to the drooling, fully erect masses just craving a sniff of [insert your car here] with EXACTLY [insert specification here], I imagine they'll try their very best to connect one of the hordes with the purchase of their lives that will JUSTIFY THEIR VERY EXISTENCE!!!! But wait, what's that? They've all mysteriously fked off home? Well, fancy that. Well, we tried. And look on the bright side, at least we've got a hundred quid. Looks like a [insert your vehicle here] isn't quite the hot ticket we thought it'd be.

Hey, thanks for that - glad people out there are as suspicious and untrusting as I am!
