So I went and filled the car and as I just squeezed the handle, realised it was the unleaded I was holding. So I've put 0.25 litres of unleaded in (minus a bit that dribbled down the side as I pulled out haha). Filled the rest up with diesel, 55 litres. I'm OK surely? Less then 0.5% won't kill the car will it? It's a Renault 1.5dci.

I'd imagine its sufficiently diluted not to be a problem

dropped a car off at dealer and got a lift to work as no coutesy car available. The driver stuck 5l of petrol in before realising, ran back over the road to the service department, brimmed it with diesel and droove off.

no issues

It probably won't even give it a cough.

I've done a couple of gallons - several times. Never made one bit of difference. Just brimmed it and then fill again after half a tank used. .25L isn't going to do anything.
