Anyone here gone from a Galaxy size bus to a Sedona.

Keen to hear opinions.
I know it's not great to drive, looks horrible and not that fuel efficient (looking at 2.9 diesels automatic at around the 4k mark).
However the extra space over a Galaxy (we have the mk2), sliding doors and little family touches appeal.
At the end of the day it's the family bus so comfort and reliability is more important.

My dad had one. It worked. That's probably the nicest thing you can say.

He did something like 150k miles and it was really reliable until near the end when the steering rack started leaking and then the gear selector cables went. He used it for work, servicing boilers so it got van levels of abuse and got epically dirty but after a valet it was fine. Tough interior materials but boringly grey. Practical folding seats and easily removable for load space. The sills rusting out finally killed it although we still managed to sell it for £350. Another plus point was it had a Mercedes derived engine, I think later ones might not be so long lived.

Had a late model one in the states (ok with a v6) and was a fine tool, not inspiring - but very comfortable with loads of room.
