According to WBAC et al?

According to them my trusty Volvo is worth a paltry £75, which means every time I fill it up I about double its value!!!

Of course the car is actually invaluable as I wouldn't be able to get to work without it and moving house would have involved far more fannying. But someone else it appears to worth a good night out!

£9285

Over 10 grand less than I bought it for 3 months ago.

9 year old Elise!

Saying that they valued my old vRS at £4K iirc, sold it private for £6100. I know it's their business model but feel for the older folks I often see there being ripped off.

Oh well, done my bit and booked an appointment this afternoon, hopefully waste at bit of that smarmy clever s time. Feel free to join me, use YO243LX. Should come up Phillip Judd, he really is a horrible piece of work.

£1090 for the OHs 2004 Volvo V70 2.5T AWD with all the toys, fsh etc.
It's obviously low but actually a lot higher than I thought they'd offer.

If we use WBAC it kicks out a horrible figure. I have also looked at a few cars recently and asked about trade in, and they are all just using the WBAC price as their offer. They say "Go get a price from WBAC, we'll give you that".

Great. The second hand car market value went down considerably when they started that.

£1845!

Pre-facelift EP3 Type-R with 98000 miles & FSH.

I'd like another £600-£1000 extra if I was selling.

Maybe not....

For your peace of mind and convenience, payments will be made via secure bank transfer. If you choose to sell your car to webuyanycar.com, a transaction fee of £74.99 including VAT would apply.laugh

They'd buy your Volvo for a penny! They'd be doing better than Clarkson did, when he bought his for a pound on Top Gear quite a few years back hehe

€100

Bought it for €500 last summer and it's in better condition now than it was then! Suppose I'll keep it then...

My friend is about to get a lease car and has a Mini Clubman. She seems very keen to use WBAC! Their website values it at £5,100 with a dent. I suspect that they are going to smash this figure down when she goes to actually settle it. Will report back in due course!

They refused to do mine either, but they did "value" my E46 328i, spitting out around £300. While nowhere near as far off in terms of cash as some of the ones posted here, that's about a fifth its actual value which may be some kind of record hehe

A 5 year old Mondeo, with a petrol engine, a large 2.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine...

I'd be lucky if I get enough to cover the value of the fuel in the tank!

Glad to see not everyone has £100k supercars at their mansions!

One of mine (03 HRV) was valued at £1200, paid just over twice that last year. Still, its only an issue if youre looking to sell! Worth more than that as the daily driver /school run/ bike transporter /tip wagon!

WBAC does seem to have gone from an under-trade-in valuation company to the traders replacement to Glass's / Black book rather quicky.
