Anyone got any thoughts on the next 12 months of used Jaguar F types?

I've driven a couple now and quite fancy one, but the cheapest used ones out there are around £46,000, perhaps a touch more for a bit more spec.
At the moment the prices seem to be controlled by the main dealers, but I'm assuming as the cars get a little bit older the prices should drop away a bit more. Big Jaguars I know are big on the depreciation.

My thought process is that it will be 3 years since they launched in the middle of next summer, hopefully by that point the prices should drop off a bit further as early adopters change for the next trending car. It would be lovely to get one in the mid-thirties, but I suspect it's going to be more like late thirties.

Just wondered if anyone out there have any thoughts?

The problem is, it's not the type of car people get rid of after about 6-12 months worth of ownership as most will be JLR customers and had a few in the past.

Financially, obviously you are better off waiting as they will come down in time as people will replace them for a like for like, just a newer one. Also wit the 4 cylinder ones coming out in the future it may take a drop again.

That being said, if you want one bad enough, just stump up the cash and enjoy the time with it.
