Just curious as I'm sure there will be some differences on here.

I have a March , Purple/Blue Focus Titanium X diesel- Every optional extra - Now on 26700 already.....

Does going by the computer 500+ miles to a tank and 53.9mpg. I don't pay for fuel but its pretty impressive.

Its different to my MK2 RS and Escort RST haha that's for sure.

4 week old Octava vRS diesel estate. Good motor and follows on from a previous model vRS which I put about 80k on in 3 years.

That's a good choice. I didn't get to order mine as I started with the company 1 week after the cars were ordered.

But the choices were - A Class Merc AMG Diesel, Astra SRI Diesel, Mondeo titanium x, Basic C class Merc.

I get a new choice next year, due to the mileage I do up in the Highlands, they buy all our cars outright so it will be recycled in the company.

MINI Cooper D
37k on the clock after 2 years.

We have a wide range of options to choose from but I'd rather take a cheaper option and take the rest of the allowance in cash.

It's replacement will, however, be a larger car. When I chose the MINI I didn't think that the HalfPints would be growing over the next three years. hehe

Do you do a lot of miles in the Mini? If so what's it like?

Tbh the Focus covers all bases, enough room for the bike in the back at the weekend. Good all rounder.

Really comfy aswell. Only let down is the Bluetooth(sync) phone system is terrible.

Ford Flex 3.7 V6 and 17mpg. It's the perfect car for me but I wouldn't pay a penny for it privately. It costs $300 per year in tax. All fuel and tolls are free as well

One of these. No tax, no number plates, runs on red diesel.

Am I doing this right?

320D like every other buffer on the M6.

It's the Efficient Dynamics version so can easily do 68mpg on a run and mid 70's if I try really hard.

I need to choose another car for April so await the list with excitement rolleyes

I drive a 1.7 CDTi current shape 63 plate but pre facelift Astra. Which has done about 40,600 miles

I get about 600 or so miles out of a tank of diesel. I'd say I get around 55mpg (I'm a geek, I reset every tank). I do about 330 miles a week just commuting and a few hundred miles a month going round the properties that I manage. I have to pay for the fuel but on expenses I get 13p a mile for the site visits I do

In my previous job I opted for cash. I ran a Clio 200 bought privately and pocketed the car allowance. I didn't do many work related miles though <1k a year. Worked well, I had a car I actually wanted and a bit of extra income.
