You "may" have swapped the cross gate selector for the Fr and Rr selector at the gearbox IE put the cables on the wronge way round.

I changed the clutch myself so sadly can't take it back. If any one can suggest any tips to adjust the linkage I would appreciate it very much

I once accidentally replaced the gear linkage with the handle from my trolley jack. Had to drive all the way back to the garage in reverse. The mechanic said it is a common mistake. Good luck mate.

Take the engine out again, and put it back the right way round.

Sorry, but obvious troll is obvious.

After the nonsense of whipping everyone into a frenzy with the "trolley jack wheel" - where does it go?

And now the gears are back to front? tongue out

If you are capable of actually changing a clutch yourself "Paulette" then you wouldn't be asking these bizarre questions.

Just joined PH today, eh?

(PS: You've got very sexy hands.... rofl )
