I broke down in France and was impressed @ the safety aspect on the autoroute.
1st Police attended with flashing lights.
Next cone truck and nearside lane coned off another cone truck with keep left sign on it. then breakdown truck.
Actually very time consuming and would disrupt traffic ' peak times but also a very very safe way of dealing with it.
