Dash cam as standard

Are there any manufacturers offering video recording as either standard fitment or optional extra as yet?

I have a dash cam but it's a non OE accessory. Most cars these days seem to have several lenses in or around the mirror housing area for various driver aids.
I don't imagine it would be that difficult to have a video feed in there as well.

Do you think it would put off the vast majority of A2B drivers?
I would have thought fleet purchasers would be glad of it.

The new Mecedes C class has an all round recording system as an option, not sure how it works but when I was ordering my latest company car it was on the options list

i know mercedes offer it as an option but im sure before long it will be standard considering how many people me included have them fitted .

Good thing for accidents for when people don't accept the blame.

Bad for when you are out for a thrash and you get branded a maniac by some dithering idiot who makes a hobby out of pointing out other drivers 'wrong doings' and posting the videos on facebook.....

When you consider how much people spend on a car, I cannot believe for the sake of £50 more people don't have dash cams.

I'm the opposite. If I see one I know I have someone that has a interest in driving behind me.
