Saw 2 today a green one and a white one.

I want to know peoples thoughts on it.
It looks different to most cars on the road.
It looks a lot better in the metal than in magazines and videos.
Tell me what you think.

It's different! Going to polar opinions like the juke I think.

Certainly won't have to worry about door dings. hehe

Given that most manufacturers seem to be trying to make their cars both as boring and as ugly as possible (quite an impressive combination) I quite like it. At least it's different.

Probably wouldn't look half bad in a dark colour with colour coded (silly) stick on armour bits. smile

Still not my cup of tea, though.

I really like that.

Would look good in lime green.

It does! Looks better in green than in white.

Common sense says - soft padding = less dings.

It may be held together with blue-tack, but they are giving serious thought to the type of car families will like
( and those folks don't frequent PH too often )

With the name of Cactus any owner is going to be at the sharp end of many pr*ck jokes...

Those things on the side look like giant Elastoplasts or material samples for your new padded cell.

I hope to hell it doesn't catch on.

Had a test drive in one recently and decided it will be my next company car. Going to go for the 100bhp 1.6 HDi Flair in Shark grey with red mirrors and detailing. Really nice to drive, sub 90 CO2 and great MPG. Having the glass panel roof too.

Doesnt the rear look like an old Cayenne?

Expected I'd absolutely hate it, but saw a white one on the road the other day and really liked it. I perhaps would drive one but it is refreshingly different.

Saw black on black today - can't hide the stick on bits any more than that. Probably the best it could have looked.

I like it, it's pretty distinctive which is becoming less and less common.

If Citroen offered it with its Hydropneumatic suspension I might even buy one!

You are on PH. You are not the target customer.
As I mentioned above - it will be shoddily built - but it will sell.

Us hairy chested V8 drinking macho men will scoff at such frivolities such as the Cactus- but it is a very relevant car for normal folks.

It's a marmite car.
I love it because it's a refreshing change from the bland looking cars most of us (including me) drive.
It's also simple ,economical and makes me smile when I see one.
Nice one Citroen.
