Staying in a hotel in Windsor and fancied a detour on the way home tomorrow. I know that entry is free. Is it a case of get in and out? I want to have a look, but I have others with me who aren't as interested and don't want them to get bored.

I've sold them in the idea of stopping for lunch there. smile

If you want lunch in the restaurant then book. The place is never really that busy so you should be able to mill about quite freely.

Usually a great and interesting place to visit, nice cafe. Never normally over busy.

Any food really. Not too fussy.

All I said was if one, or two of you don't want to look around you can grab food. All adults, no children in the car.

I just wanted to check that it wasn't like queueing for Alton Towers during the summer due to a one in, one out rule, or similar. Sounds like we should be good to just call in.

Thanks

It's basically a car showroom so not that busy. There is a cafe downstairs which does some nice food or upstairs is a restaurant. Give yourself an hour or 2. Good 4d simulation of being a Mercedes on the production line driving display at 1pm if it's on this time of year.

And if you can convince them brook lands museum is next door which has Concorde, lots of WW2 aircraft and early passenger aircraft some stunning prewar cars and a big bus museum. All for about £10

It's an interesting place but in effect a glorified car dealership. You will have no problem getting in.

Thanks everyone. Watched the AMG drivers. Had a nose around and a read and some lunch.
