Why do people sell there cars to buy an SUV when you can now get a child seat that can take 3 children in a Mini or Bently GT or 4 in a Fiesta

Because 3 young kids can require a monumental amount if peripheral ste that needs to go in the boot. Or they might have friends/cousins that tag along sometimes.
