I have been looking at BMW 650s on Autotrader. On their facts and figure section of all automatic cars around 2005/2006 they quote a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. Is it me or have they got that wrong by a good second or so?

Surely that is more M6 spec.

Here is a link to just one of the ones I looked at with stats on it:

Seems like the 0-60 figure for the F12 650i has been included by accident.

Bear in mind though that the figure quoted by BMW was conservative and the 0-60 time is more like 5.3 seconds.

Great car with a fantastic engine!

Yes, definitely. My dad had 2 - after owning a 645i.

He sold his second on 120k (nothing needed throughout ownership other than standard service items) and his mate still has one (170k and still going strong).

As a GT, they're fantastic. Ignore the 0-60 time as it doesn't do the car justice, they are properly rapid. Great sound from the exhaust also as standard.

Weirdly, they are small in the back - smaller than a 3-Series coupe - however they've got a bigger boot i.e. built to easily accommodate a set of golf clubs and trolley.
