Track 'experience' day recommendations
Discussion
Also drift or rally, but not supercar days.
I've been asked which one to recommend for a Christmas present but tbh haven't a clue. I'm sure a few on here will have tried them out. South East (ish) preferred. His g/f is buying and budget is 100's rather than 1000's.
PalmerSport looks good to me.
Anyway, over to the PH collective...

If you're looking for something with constant instruction (which if hiring a car and not already expert, you are), Palmersport is unbeatable.
I've tried plenty, and I really do mean unbeatable. I once worked out that if you wanted the same sort of track time on conventional "supercar experience" type days, it'd cost you nearly £3k, and then the instructors wouldn't be half as good, you wouldn't be allowed to push to and beyond the limits, the cars wouldn't be as well sorted, the experience wouldn't be a tenth as professionally run, you wouldn't have onboard video to take home at the end... No comparison at all.
You know how some experience day places fit a brake pedal for their instructors? Well, at Palmersport they have a bar with which they can lift you off the brakes if you're not carrying enough entry speed.
Honestly, it's that good. There are plenty of threads around here asking about it and its value for money, and every time plenty of us crawl out of the woodwork to say we're absolutely addicted to it
