Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of getting a ramp in my business unit so I can carry out more extensive work on my car. Basically I run a window tinting/vinyl wrapping company and my unit is quite big lengthways but only wide enough for one car. I want to be able to have mine/mates track cars up on the ramp while being able to drive work cars in and out underneath.

It will be a second hand one and looking at getting it professionally installed obviously.

Anyone have one or any advice on certain makes/models to look out for?

Thanks

Jon

A hard one

I would normally say a 2 poster as it is easy to get suspension and wheels off

but for wrapping i would say a 4 post as then you can very easily get the car up to a decent working height

Yeah, I was thinking 2 poster as it won't be used for wrapping or anything but mainly mechanical work.

I want to take the subframe off my m3 and get it powder coated along with a few other things, also me and a mate are getting a track car which will need work done.

What are the advantages of 4 and 2 post ramps?
