Best Basket Case

What has been your best basket case? i.e. the most hopeless car you've ever bought but one that you have treasured regardless because its been so much fun. I'm not talking about flipping cars for profit, instead buying something that was probably neglected, but undervalued, and being able to enjoy it all the same.

A ka, bought to make profit...didnt as it had rusted to pieces. Great fun car, handled like a go kart!

My first car back in 1999. A 1991 1.8 Ford Onion (H893 HDP).

Everything that could have gone wrong with that car did. The amount i spent on repairs i could have bought something brand new but that was far outweighed by the good times i had in it.
