Hi,
Looking for a small, 5 door auto for my mother.
Had a drive of a 14 plate Fiesta 1.6 Powershift today. I'd read all the comments about cars experiencing shuddering and a grinding noise from the gearbox..... the car did not exhibit any of these issues. However, there was a grinding noise when selecting drive or reverse from neutral, and vice versa. Is this normal for this type of gearbox? I've driven "traditional autos before (my current snotter is a 99 c class auto), but have never experienced any noises when selecting drive.
