Fellow barge owners,

I have spoken to E65Ross, from the 1-5 large thread, and thought it may be good fun to have a "Barge Meet" somewhere in Hampshire.

No other reason than to show some solidarity to Ross as he waits for surgery and to provide an opportunity to meet some PHers and see their barges.

Everybody welcome whatever you drive but, if a barge forms part of your fleet, please bring it along!

Open to places to meet and dates.

Those in:

Junglie (E39 530i)
E65Ross (E65 745i)

Sounds like fun, I'm bargeless at the moment (I don't think an S60 counts, I know a Clio certainly doesn't wink ) but it'd be good to put some faces to names.

I'm in of course, but may need to pull out last minute depending on hospital dates etc. Almost certainly I'll be in before Xmas....

So if the meet is in new years I MAY be able to go (depending how I feel) but I'd have to get a mate to come along to drive my car.... I don't think I can drive for 6 months afterwards!! eek

I have a soft spot for all most things wafty.

Texasjohn,

Well done for figuring out the way to copy and add your name!

We spoke about your E500 when you were looking to sell so looking forward to seeing it. Do you still have the 550i?

Cheers mate. Matts "good wood" comment was hilarious!! Have you still got the 3 jags? Or have you sold the later XJR?

I think Sunday mornings seem to be the norm for most meets! A location would be handy too....

Depends on weather, but either MB 124 cabrio or a 500 SL. The proper Barge likely to be on family duties.

A word of caution, I may turn up with an engine hoist to attempt a sneaky engine swap while you're not looking, yours will drive home just fine, you won't notice a thing...

I'll be there.

Jag XJ6

How about Ikea top floor, we can all go for meatballs!

Would somebody update the list with people and cars - I can't seem to manage that!

Top floor of Ikea sounds good!

No, I don't have the 550i any more, I sold it in January. I didn't have a car again until recently.

Ikea works for me and, Ross, if you need a lift just shout!

Junglie, just quote the last list and remove the quote tags.
