Since her car was keyed last week I am now utterly paranoid about my BMW, I need to park in b'ham city centre on Saturday night due to the damn trains not running after 10pm. Can anyone recommend any safe/well lit etc parking around the Glee Club/Arcadian?

Cheers

Bromsgrove st just off bristol st.

I always park the MPS there and if your close to the road its lit enough. Just as important those carparks are cheap.

Mailbox, it's a short walk from the Arcadian. It is pricey though compared to others but safe

Red Cage car park - (also known as Town Hall Car Park)

Brunel St.

Just around the corner from Mailbox and Broad Street but just out of the way enough that it's nice and quiet to get in and out of. Parked here twice now for events at the ICC/NIA and it's been brilliant.

I second The Cage as we call it.

Conveniently located and cheap after hours.

Park in the corner on one of the upper floors.

Well lit and full of expensive motors. I always use this.

Just been having a Google and there is the "APCOA China Town csrpwrk" opposite the place, rather then the 15min walk to the mailbox one. Has anyone ever parked there?

We parked in the one by china town, didn't have any major problems other than actually getting out!

In terms of well lit, secure and out-of the way etc? After her little Peugeot 207 was badly keyed I'm now more paranoid then ever... frown

Probably more unlucky than anything, a random nutter and the car being in the wrong place at the wrong time? It isnt a 'jealousy' type thing if it was to a 207, just some drunk / scum / vandal.

Second the Mailbox suggestion, well lit, will have cctv and security too, nice cars always in there, that or as above - if your going to the Arcadian you cant get closer than the China town car-park - also a nicely lit and probably cctv / security covered carpark.

Dont get ott about it though - it could have happened anywhere, its not a Birmingham only problem.

Mailbox best imho... Parked there today when going to German Market. £10 for 6 hrs... Good spaces, well lit and park mark etc.
