Any advice or recommendations...?

Always been a bit glare sensitive -find it REALLY annoying- right down to using indirect/baffled anti glare lighting at home, but at this time of year and especially when driving home when tired the high impact glare of modern LED brake lights in my face/strobes used by idiot cyclists heads over older softer incandescent lamps is distracting to the point it's affecting my concentration on driving at times.

Google seems to reward me with a million opinions and counter opinions, so any advice on what I should be looking at? Thanks!

EDIT: I don't wear glasses BTW these are purely for glare

From what I understand, everyone's eyes work so differently, that you won't know until you try a pair.

I have the same problem, and I bought a pair of yellow tint glasses for winter night driving (was commuting around the M25 daily at the time and was having lots of problems with star glare) and they did help a little, but not as well as I was hoping for.
I know two other people that have bought a pair to try, and for one it made no difference what-so-ever, and for the other it made a huge difference.

Try a pair and see for yourself.

Which optician did you use ? I need some new specs and the ones I got a few years ago with the night driving coating were not that great tbh, I should have gone somewhere else (a clue to the supplier!).

ETA; I'd love to try all the diffent suppliers but taking the right prescription away and driving around with them on is a bit of an ask =)

Why not try a pair of anti glare cycling specs with interchangeable lenses to see what colour lens helps you?
These are available on ebay for £10:
