What a surprise! Link is dead for creating new account. They literally just want to squeeze people for money.

I've been trying to switch my Dart Tag account to a Dart Charge account and couldn't online as you need a verification number that i haven't received. Calling this week has resulted in being on hold long enough to just give up (a couple of people in the office who had to have it sorted as they use the crossing everyday were on hold for over 3 hours)

Then yesterday - called at about 10am, and was off the phone about 5 minutes later, account set up, balance transferred and they were, I have to say, very helpful and efficient

It's working fine for me.

ETA it crashed when I was trying to enter payment details; it's reloaded the homescreen but seems to be stuck. It'll just be high-volume; try again in a few hours.

It's working now, I've just checked and my old balance has been transferred from Dart-Tag and I've also managed to top it up.
