Sorry...quick tyre fitter question [in Solihull].

You guys recommended some chaps near Dudley a while ago, who I've used a couple of times and they've been great. However, it's a bit of a mission to get over there on a Saturday morning, with the potential of a big queue!

So I'm after your advice again. Does anyone know of a place in Solihull/Shirley/Cov that will fit a couple of tyres, that I'll supply myself, and won't damage the alloy etc?!

The guys down at the local Kwik Fit seem ok [and have now got a Hunter machine for when I want to sort my alignment] but don't sound very keen to fit tyres that I'll supply - they can't price match Camskills. They said they will do it but keep mentioning 'insurance if something goes wrong', which doesn't fill me with faith!

The MINI/BMW dealer said they won't fit tyres unless they supply them - I'm guessing they'll be expensive.

Before you supply your own give Jefferies tyres in Bromsgrove a call. They have yet to be beaten in the several years I've used them, and do a good job in a ridiculously high turnover fashion.

If you insist on supplying your own then David at the imaginatively named "Tyre & Puncture Repairs Ltd" (1642 Coventry Road B26 1AN) is a lovely chap who possibly might help.

I used to use Jefferies tyres, but now use Wythall Tyres and Exhausts by Beckettes farm and are happy to fit tyres you supply, not as cheap but take a lot of care with your wheels and it's closer for me in Redditch
