So, I'm parked up in the train station carpark waiting for the other half and i notice this silver citroen people carrier sitting in the middle of the carpark when there are plenty of spaces.

It irritates me but hey ho...

The citroen then reverses as if to park but decides to pick the only space that was occupied.

He reverses straight into a parked car.

Female passenger gets out, pretends to get something out of the boot whilst having a look around to see if anyone saw what happened. She then does a quick inspection of THEIR car only then gets back in. and they move to their original ttty spot in the middle of the car park.

My other half has arrived whilst this was going on, she gets in the car and i explain whats just happened. i turn around and the guy has gone but i had taken a picture of it just incase so i had the number plate.

I ask my other half for some paper (you know what girls are like, they always have crap like that in their bags) but the only thing we could muster up was a business card i keep in the car.

Other half was saying 'just leave it, don't get involved' - really irritated me because we have been the victim of hit and runs (to the tune of £1200!) so i stood by my decision and wrote a quick note explaining what happened, the number plate of the offending car and said that my details were on the reverse if they needed any clarification / witness.

I got an email back thanking me and there was £150 worth of broken parking sensor so they won't bother with the insurance.

Two days later i get a call from someone wanting a website done, she'd got my number from the guy who's car got hit.

Went to see her, job and price agreed.

Happy days smile

That's a good story, well done on leaving your details - it was precisely the right thing to do. (Shame on your OH for not wanting to do so.)
