Is anyone else noticing just how many cars this winter have defective front lights. Either one headlight not working at all, or one which is half dead and the other one wrongly set. A lot of them seem to be VAG cars for some reason, which doesn't surprise me as during the four years I had a Passat it blew a bulb in both front and back lights...anyway, its something else that seems to have become the norm. I assume plod doesn't have the resources to tackle, or just turns a blind eye to it. Aside from being dangerous in these winter months, why aren't people getting their defective lights fixed. Its not hard to know your front lights aren't working properly!

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this, I saw three cars come pass me earlier in the week one after another all with a light defect of some description.

What's really annoying is I notice some of them are clearly aware of the fault then use their foglights........though I appreciate arguably this is 'safer' than just one, but bl**dy annoying.

One of my bugbears, also. To be fair though 15 years ago you could buy a bulb for 50p in any garage, unclip your headlight reflector and pop it in. Nowadays it's often a main stealer job!

I only know because of the influx of boring threads regarding lights , DRLS, xenons, LED brakelights that happens every bloody year

It's OK...just turn on the backup front fog lights to restore full frontal luminosity.

Seen loads lately, usually with one 'dead' one, and one on full beam to make up for it!
