Loosing the will to live!

Not that rich or anything but the Mrs seems to collect parking tickets like they are going out of fashion. I have lost count but think it must be 7/8 this year.

Love her loads, but seem as though I am stuck with a over zealous council and an expensive wife.

....and of course its all my fault.

Nothing can be done, we have been through this stuff loads of times before...now days I find it easier to walk with my credit card in my hand and my pin on a post-it note on my head. It just makes things a little easier.

Just venting.....

Maybe try making the wife pay her own tickets in future? Its not rocket science.

Or better still, tell her to be more bloody careful where she parks.

Or just come and vent about it on here...

Parking tickets, car park dings, bumper scratches, kerbed alloys - what's the difference? All part of the additional costs of OH motoring. My personal bugbear is kerbed alloys but at least it can't get worse than four instances! I won't get them repaired anymore unless I am selling the car.

Just wait until you get bailiff visits. I had to make sure I transferred 'our' car into her name so she got them addressed to her rather than me frown That also backfired as I just don't get visibilty of the problem anymore.

My pal had this with his daughter. She was ignoring the tickets. One escalated to a £450 debt. The problem was she had left home but not changed her address so the bailiffs came knocking on his door!

Each parking ticket should equate to one blow job and anal voucher for you

ETA: Probably best to confiscate her strap on!

Eesh, just booked my girlfriend's theory test today. Whilst I am looking forward to her being able to do the school run, daily post office trip, weekly lugging stuff to the tip... I hadn't thought about that!!!

I've got an idea. Tell her where she can park and where she will get a parking ticket. Or just suck it up.

Why on earth are you paying for her parking tickets?

Ask yourself, who's really the fool?

Is this just a veiled 'I have a hot sugar baby' thread. If not, I don't get it?

Really? That's a rather misogynistic thing to say! My wife is a much, much better driver than I am and she keeps her cars in absolutely top condition all the time.

Doesn't matter if it's a woman, man, kid, pet - it's 10x worse paying to fix someone else's mistake than your own.

That's a fair comment to make. My OH is a careful and alert driver and has had fewer accidents than me but collected many more points strangely. She is one of four female drivers in this household. In spite of my best efforts to teach three of them how to treat a car none of them have any sense of mechanical sympathy and seem not to notice external damage. Brakes and clutches wear very quickly. Having said that with my youngest there seemed little point in giving her driving practice because I contradicted much of the new teaching methods particularly on slowing down when down changes are no longer required!
