I don't believe so.

Although they may have mitigation, and much less likelyhood of being nicked (assuming no accident takes place), than the rest of us.

As an aside I noticed for the first time an Ambulance had closed the M1 on it's own today....

Looked like a 'passenger' type as well rather than a emergency bus, Lorry had decided to fall over on the M1. Given the traffic there was not much danger in using their ambo as an obstruction, until the big boys got there.

First time I'd seen it.

I wouldn't say he "blew" that to be honest, if every one else drove as carefully, the lights wouldn't be needed.
