£1000 what car thread

Hi all,

History: Corsa c 1.4/1.8 + Corsa C Z20LET 2.0T

Too much modding, scene related spending and not enough investments in myself and my future. Ended up in debt because of that engine conversion, learnt my less. Six months of getting bus, how have I coped?

Criteria:

Reliable
1150KG max weight, this can vary depending on power
110bhp +
Must be N/A

Next door is selling a Focus MK1 2.0 Zetec with very low mileage which probably worth a shout. I'm interested in a 1.6 vti civic EK or EG, but seems out of budget, there's not many 1.5 vtec unit models around either?

Impreza Turbo 2000 would be where my money would go. You might get a facelift classic for that, my 97 only cost me £850 so there are bargains out there to be had.
