1 Day Insurance?

Landing on 13th Dec in London, kindly been given a 01 focus for free in London.

Now the tricky part. Im only 20 so insurance can be a pig.

Does anywhere do 1 day insurance? When it gets home I would be selling it so no need to be insured long term.

Or would just taking out a year long policy on monthly payments and cancel 2 days later as its within the 14 day cooling off period?

I was looking for a 3 day quote for something once, pricey, so your original idea might be best....

Third idea. I do have a insurance policy already running on my cherry, would they insure me for 1 day on the focus?

Would be a lower risk car, insurance is only 378 quid for a year on the focus compared to almost a grand on the cherry.
