Great start to a Saturday morning. Went out to get some Christmas shopping and found footprints all over my car from the roof to the boot.

There are a series of dents on the roof from the gits heel which have ruined the look of the car. Its a 320d, but the only car I have and I'm pretty annoyed. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get these repaired? I'm hoping they can be sucked out.

Thanks

a roof skin is a pita to repair perfectly but try a paintless dent repairer...... will be plenty in your area.

It happened to one of our cars a few weeks ago. I managed to get the worst of the dents out by hitting the headlining a few times with the flat of my hand, I'll deal with the rest later.

ask around at quality dealers/local forums etc for a GOOD dent man , theres loads of em about but theyre not all great at what they do

dont try hammering or any diy work as you may make it worse, see what the dent man says first

That sucks OP. Had that happen to my Honda civic years ago.

New roof skin was only about £150. Labour was about £1400 at a Honda main dealer however. As mentioned, lots of work involved to replace the roof skin.

Luckily the drunk 'tard was caught on cctv and made to pay the full cost in my case, so a dent repair service might be better if you're footing the book yourself.

I think I've posted a link to this thread a few times, but only because a) it's one that sticks in my mind because of the damage done and b) how impressive the repair was....

Thanks guys. I've asked a few neighbours whether they've heard anything but no luck. More hard earned money I'll have to pay out due to another person being a tw*t. Great time of year for it too!

Feel for you mate. A couple of Sunday's ago I went out to my car and saw a big dent in the bonnet, looked as though somebody had sat on it. First thing I did was to check the roof incase they'd ran across it, luckily it was okay. I know a guy who does paintless dent removal and he's done a great job but it's not 100%

He did say that he worked on a car once that somebody had ran across, think he spent most of the day on it. As said above, worst case is a new skin. I'd ask a local dent removal guy to assess your's. I used Dent Devils
