Cars That Have To Be Driven With The Driver Aids On
Discussion
You can switch off all the aids in my C63 and in other AMG's.
I don't see the point of switching off if on the road if wet or on a motorway.
It's nothing to do with NOT being able to drive it, more to do with having some life saving tools to help if something happens - oil, having to swerve to avoid something, blow-out, unexpected event.
To say that if you need them you can't drive is total b

Same in the VXR8 GTS, glad they were on whilst driving to Goodwood yesterday, managed to break traction in 4th at 70mph as the roads were so cold, but as the TCS was on all I got was a little arse shake and a flashing light, rather than the back of the car becoming the front of the car!I don't see the point of switching off if on the road if wet or on a motorway.

Like using a calculator. You SHOULD be able to do the calculation without help. Doesn't mean you HAVE to do it without help.To say that if you need them you can't drive is total b

I presume you failed comprehension - READ the title.

Cars That HAVE To Be Driven With The Driver Aids On
The answer is NONE
Some are designed that you can't turn them off easily, sometimes when you're not in the mood and just want to get home it's nice to have them on, but that wasn't the question.
I'd venture that just about any car could be driven with all of the driver aids switched off, assuming they switch off.
In a fair number however that driving would be pussy footing around. There are probably a fair number of cars which few people would be happy to drive aggressively on a real road - as opposed to on an airfield with huge run offs - with all the driver aids turned off.

I assume the OP is looking for something like a Eurofighter, which IIRC is inherently unstable and will pretty much drop out the sky if it weren't for the fly-by-wire system making continuous adjustments to keep it stable.
For which, I think the answer is none...
Well, he is 12 years old after all. For which, I think the answer is none...
When the Tuscan was up for sale I was seriously thinking about a Z4M Roadster, so popped on the owners forum to ask a few questions.
One of my questions was regarding turning the driver aids off, I was met by a series of "oh god your going to die" and lots of pictures of cars in trees etc etc.
I did point out that I had come from a 390bhp TVR with no driver aids at all and am still very much alive after 4 years of ownership but apparently you might as well shoot yourself than turn the driver aids off in a Z4...
